  Appalling. Would never go again. Wish I was making this story up. We arrived before advertised closing time absolutely starving after recently arriving in town - 3 single women and a one year old- to be told we couldn't order as all takeaway orders must be placed before 7:45 and we were 5 minutes too late. We explained the situation, that we'd just had a 12 hour drive and didn't have any food, that the baby was hungry and surely he could bend the rule this one time. But no, we couldn't even get a serve of chips. The fellow quite happily explained that they were the only place in town that was open, but he couldn't help us and that we'd have to drive to Sale if we wanted to eat. I'm from a small town too, and understand that you can't expect the same services as in larger centers, but in my part of the world you help people who need it, especially when they have kids. Luckily his customers offered some insights into where we might be able to get a feed.
